Greetings Fraters and Sorors, and welcome to the 2022-2024 National Pan-Hellenic Council of Montgomery County, Maryland service year! My name is Tana Crumbley-Hassan, it is with great excitement that I greet you for the first time as President of the NPHC-MCMD. It is my honor and pleasure to assume leadership of the Divine Nine, NPHC-MCMD. 

I'm a proud member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated for almost twenty-nine years. Inducted in November 1993, as a Charter member of Nu Pi Chapter at Strayer University. The first NPHC Organization to be charter at that University. My current Alumnae Chapter is Eta Iota Sigma, where I serve on the Membership Committee. 

While in office, my vision is to work diligently with the Executive Board to expand our Community Partnerships, support more Social Action and Justice events. Push for voters' registration and early voting. Award more Scholarships for students attending HBCUs and Montgomery College. Align NPHC-MCMD mission with National Headquarters. Also, to interact more with each Divine Nine organization Chapter Presidents with quarterly discussions. I'm passionate about NPHC-MCMD being relevant and making a difference in the lives of Montgomery County residents.

In order to making a positive impact and make a difference in our students lives for the future generation of leaders is to ensure the elevation of the youth, through educational programs and mentorship. Providing resources that will further their education by helping them to succeed while overcoming challenges and hardships. With Community programs and positive engagement, creating inspirational change is achievable.
