About NPHC of Montgomery County, Maryland Chapter
The NPHC of Montgomery County, MD is an affiliate charter member of The National Pan-Hellenic Council, a collaborative organization of the nine (9) major Black Greek Lettered Fraternities & Sororities.
Vision Statement
The National Pan-Hellenic Council of Montgomery County, MD, maximizes the collective local resources to be an advocate for community-based issues, to unify the community, and be a professional networking base for all NPHC-MCMD chapter affiliate organization members in the Montgomery County area.
Mission Statement
Community being the central focus of the NPHC-MCMD, as we promote programs and initiatives to improve the African- American conditions from an academic, economic, health, social and civic perspective. Through partnerships with other community-based organizations, as well as those relationships established among member chapters, the NPHC-MCMD encourages its members to be leaders in the community through service, education, brotherhood and sisterhood.
Goals of NPHC-MCMD
01/
Increase active percentage of all known Divine Nine Greek chapters in the Montgomery County.
02/
Increase visibility and involvement of NPHC-MCMD among external community ("Non-Greek"; professional, community-based, health and academic organizations).
03/
Foster an environment that engages chapter presidents, educates their delegations, and informs the general membership of the affiliate NPHC organizations.
04/
Provide professional and/or personal development opportunities for NPHC-MCMD membership.
The NPHC of Montgomery County, Maryland meets on the first Thursday of each month, except July and August at 7:00 p.m.

There are fourteen (14) affiliated charted alumni chapters from the Divine Nine Black Greek Letter Fraternities and Sororities that are participating financial members of The National Pan-Hellenic Council of Montgomery County, Maryland. Chartered alumni member chapters include:
