As a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Montgomery County (MD) Alumnae Chapter, I am honored to serve as President of the National Pan-Hellenic Council of Montgomery County, Maryland for the 2026–2028 term.

​​

The National Pan-Hellenic Council represents nine distinguished organizations with a shared legacy of scholarship, service, leadership, and social action. Together, we have both the responsibility and the opportunity to address the evolving needs of our community through collective leadership and meaningful partnerships.

 ​

My vision for this administration is to build a stronger, more connected, and more impactful council—one that leverages the talents and resources of our member organizations to create meaningful change throughout Montgomery County.  During this administration, our focus will be on transforming collaboration into measurable impact. 

 

Our priorities for the 2026–2028 term include:

 

Strengthening the Council by increasing collaboration, communication, and engagement among our member organizations.

 

Expanding Community Impact through signature service projects, youth mentoring, scholarship programs, health and wellness initiatives, and workforce development opportunities.

 

Advancing Civic Engagement by promoting voter education, community awareness, and informed participation in local civic affairs through nonpartisan educational initiatives.

Developing Future Leaders by creating opportunities for mentorship, professional development, and leadership training for students.

 

Building Strategic Partnerships with educational institutions, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies to expand resources and increase our collective impact.

 

Enhancing the NPHC Brand by increasing our visibility, strengthening community engagement, and showcasing the collective achievements of the Divine Nine throughout Montgomery County.

 

I invite our member organizations, community partners, elected officials, and residents to join us in advancing this vision. Together, we can leverage the strength of the Divine Nine to create lasting change, inspire civic leadership, and build a stronger, more connected Montgomery County.
